House Wicki-Vogt

Christine Bärlocher

"Face fear with courage," Maja Wicki-Vogt pleads in "reformiert." With this portrait from March 24, 2016, I wanted to capture her courageous yet serene gaze from the darkness. Three months later, I learned of Maja Wicki-Vogt's unexpected death (January 4, 1940 – June 23, 2016). Thus, the picture unintentionally became a final testament to the impressive philosopher, trauma therapist, and author.
