During the three weeks leading up to the federal elections, the 24heures web section offered, twice a week, a report from a Vaudois commune or community. Thus, the tiny village of Molondin was followed by the Vaudois of Paris. Then there was Bursinel, where trains, the post office, and buses almost no longer run. We then went to L'Etivaz, an old village, certainly, but whose farmers are particularly young. And in the final week, we set up cameras, cameras, pens, and microphones in Renens, a multicultural town par excellence, and in the border villages of western Vaud. The idea behind this series was to see what the expectations of Vaudois people are, whom we don't necessarily hear much about. And what are the real problems they face in their daily lives. Beyond speeches, slogans, or promises, but on the ground. We did this by using all the technical possibilities the internet offers us. You will have understood that this is the joint work of an entire section. Made up of Fanny Giroud, Sarah Bourquenoud, Anetka Mühlemann, Lucie Monnat and Joël Burri, under my responsibility. Wishing you a pleasant discovery, I send you my best regards. Gilles Biéler
