Yvain Genevay is a Swiss photographer based in Lausanne. He works primarily as a reporter and portraitist for daily and weekly newspapers. In 2000, he joined the editorial teams of Le Matin and Le Matin Dimanche as a staff photographer. In 2015, he received the Swiss Press Award 15 "Photographer of the Year" for a report on a Syrian refugee family. Since 2018, he has been the staff photographer for Le Matin Dimanche.
