Protest photo as a protest against restrictions on demonstrations during the visit of Xi Jinping to the United Nations in Geneva. The photo was made the day before the visit - a somewhat surreal restriction - and was used, with cooperation of the newspaper, on the morning after the visit was over - rather than an image flattering the Chinese Premier.
