They come to photograph: the tourists. Backpackers as individual tourists, Asian tour groups as package tourists. How do they see Zurich? What do they look at? How do they travel (with a suitcase and a Luis Vuitton bag or with a backpack and wallet)? I tried to capture the special features of tourists, not just their cameras and sun hats. All images were taken in early October 2011 in Zurich at Niederdorf, Limmatquai, Bahnhofstrasse, the airport, and Langstrasse. The idea was to create a colorful and lively story, with the idea that the printed images in Züritipp are the photographs of the tourists themselves.
