Geboren 1983 in Winterthur. Studium der allgemeinen Geschichte, der Geografie und des Staatsrechts in Zürich und Freiburg i.Ü. Abschluss mit einer wissenschaftsgeschichtlichen Arbeit über den deutschen Geografen und «Lebensraum»-Theoretiker Friedrich Ratzel. 2008 Eintritt in die NZZ. Nach Stationen als Reporter und Blattmacher seit 2014 in der Inlandredaktion tätig und zuständig für historische Analysen und Sicherheitspolitik.
