Sunday View fulfills wishes: Susy at the children's zoo

As part of the "SoBli Fulfills Wishes" campaign, the neighbor of Susy Greb (41), who has been wheelchair-bound since a skiing accident, requested a visit to the Rapperswil Children's Zoo. Susy was even allowed into the giraffe and zebra enclosures and up close to the long-necked animals – she absolutely loved it. It was a true escape from her not-so-easy everyday life.

Am Rand der Schweiz, im Fricktal, aufgewachsen (*1953), Gymi (BS) und später Lehrerin . Fange mit 16 J. an, mit der Kamera den stetigen Wandel meiner "gewachsenen Umgebung zu Beton aller Art" zu dokumentieren, bald bin ich auch die Porträtistin meiner MitschülerInnen. Mein weiterer Weg führt dann von der Lehrerin wieder in die Schule für Gestaltung, die Fotoklasse in Zürich (1980). Dort entwickelt sich klar : mein Ort ist die Presse. Der SonntagsBlick sucht 1984 eine Frau, die "fotojournalistisch interessiert ist". Seither bin ich für den SoBli viele Wege zu vielen Menschen mit ganz unterschiedlichen Kameras in der Hand gegangen.
