These aren't places to linger, but to endure. Here, the damp clings like a second skin, the cold eats through every layer, and the hardness of the floor and walls presses mercilessly into every bone. These are the forgotten corners, the windowless chambers, the drafty underpasses where the echo of one's own footsteps fades into endless emptiness. Every breath is a chill, every moment a reminder of an uncomfortable existence. They are a canvas for loneliness and the inhospitable face of the world, places you want to leave behind as quickly as possible, but whose inhospitable grip lingers long after.
