The Zurich Fan Map visualizes the season ticket holders of the four top-flight ice hockey and soccer clubs in the canton of Zurich on an interactive map. This data journalism study was able to reveal the geographical distribution of season ticket holders. While soccer fans primarily come from urban areas, ice hockey fans are particularly well represented in rural areas.
