In Romania they have four children and a house; but they earn their living as beggars in Lausanne, where they sleep underneath a bridge when it rains. Florin and Rita are Romani (159, 160, 161). Jova belongs to the same ethnic minority. However, she has moved on to Umeå in Sweden, chased off by the many fines (162). Florin, Rita, Jova, and other Romani commuting between Romania and Switzerland were photographed between 2012 and 2015.
