Chinatown - Chinese in Zug

Patrick Hürlimann

When people in Switzerland talk about Chinese tourists, they think of Lucerne, Interlaken, Zermatt, and the Jungfraujoch. However, in recent months, visitors from China have been increasingly seen on Zug's streets. The idyllic lakeside promenade and the mostly deserted old town of Zug are flooded with a foreign, modern culture for a few hours at a time.
