In 1968, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the guru of Transcendental Meditation, stayed at the Grad Hotel Kulm in Seelisberg. The master of "yogic flying" established the headquarters of his "World Government of the Age of Enlightenment" there. After the yogis' hasty departure, the Hotel Kulm was left to its own devices. Now, it is up for sale.
