On October 14, 2023, we took the first portrait photos of David in a friend's photo studio in Zurich. Before that, I picked David up from the rehabilitation clinic in Bellikon, where he has been receiving treatment for months. It is the first time that I have seen David like this since the accident, which happened on may 5th 2023. About 70% of his skin is marked by third-degree burns. It's a portrait of David Heimer. David had a terrible parachute accident near Barcelona in May 2023. He caught fire on a high-voltage power line. It's a miracle that David is alive. I was able to accompany him through it with my camera. David is a successful chef and a friend. We've known each other for many years.
