During a three-month investigation, I was able to gather evidence that a police officer of Turkish origin and a supporter of Erdogan's authoritarian regime was illegally accessing data on Basel citizens from police computers. This led to investigations, external investigations, suspensions, and the resignation of the police commander, who denied any connection to the reporting.
