Between 1980 and 2000, southern Switzerland—especially Ticino—recorded an unusually high number of UFO/UAP sightings. With just 300,000 inhabitants, three ufology centers collected over 700 reports. A secret Swiss Army study, dossier 248-CH, later declassified, admits many cases remain unexplained. 248-CH is a photographic journey through the skies and landscapes of southern Switzerland.

Born in Torino (Italy) on 29.6.1989, Carlo Alberto Rusca lives in Locarno (Switzerland). Graduated in Directing and Production at the International Academy of Audiovisual Sciences (CISA) in Lugano in 2013, he continued his studies at University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI), graduated in 2014 with high honors with a thesis in aesthetic of human bodies by experimental photography. His series Ultracorpo ciclo 1 , made during 2014 with invisible light frequencies found national and international publication and was awarded Honorable Mention in Nude at Monochrome Awards in february 2015 in London. His production (video and photo) is a research about reality and visual identity.
