The gradual farewell to the Gampelen campsite

When the season at the Gampelen campsite ends on October 6, 2024, it will be a farewell forever. The site is located in the Fanel Nature Reserve on the northeastern shore of Lake Neuchâtel. Therefore, the Touring Club Switzerland (TCS) must close its largest site, with 850 pitches. And many people who have camped at Gampelen for decades will lose a second home.
