For the first time, laboratory measurements by K-Tipp show that supermarket salads contain chemicals from car tires. For the study, test editor Andreas Schildknecht purchased lamb's lettuce, arugula, and lettuce from Swiss wholesalers. The result: 12 out of 15 salads contained chemical residues. Due to these disturbing findings, the federal government launched its own research project in October.
