Around 900 Blacknose sheep spend the summer in the Valais region of the "Inner Aletschji." The climb there is fraught with hazards: rockfalls are a threat, and the path is narrow and rocky. In the "Inner Aletschji," the sheep are protected from wolves between glaciers and rocks.
