Geboren 03.05.1972 in Bern, wohnt in Liebistorf/FR, verheiratet, zwei Kinder. Berufslehre als Möbelschreiner 1987–1991. Arbeit mit geistig behinderten Menschen und angefangenes Studium der Sozialarbeit 1992–1999. Lehrgang für Pressefotografie am Medienausbildungszentrum MAZ Luzern 1999/2000. Pressefotograf bei der Berner Zeitung 2001–2007. Seit 2007 selbstständiger Fotograf im Bereich Porträt und Reportage. Publikationen in GEO, Das Magazin, NZZ am Sonntag, Die Zeit, Beobachter, Schweizer Familie, Sonntagszeitung u.a.
