August 2018, beim Klausenpass. Bei der Bodenfahrt ziehen die Aelpler mit ihrem Vieh von den hoeheren Weiden beim Klausenpass zurueck auf die niederigen Alpen bei Urnerboden. A slightly injured cow is flown out by helicopter from the Klausen Pass because it is unfit for descent from the alpine pastures. Around 1,000 cows are transported to lower alpine pastures on Friday, August 24, 2018, at the Klausen Pass. During the descent, the Alpine farmers and their cattle are transported from the higher pastures near the Klausen Pass back to the lower Alps near Urnerboden.
