In spring 2024, the winegrowers in Salgesch fought tirelessly against frost to protect their vines. Larissa Kuonen, a fourth-generation oenologist, coordinated the use of heat candles and gas blowers to raise temperatures. The work was physically and emotionally demanding, as damage cannot always be avoided despite all efforts.
