Thurgau is considered a cycling paradise. Quite a few people take their dogs along for the ride – in trailers, baskets, bags, and even backpacks. The footage for this report was shot between mid-August and the end of October in the Amriswil Romanshorn region.

In Österreich geboren und aufgewachsen. Nach Wanderjahren als Freelancer 1970 in die Schweiz gekommen und "hängen" geblieben. Früher mehrere Berufe erlernt. Hotelfachschule und Fotograf in den 1960-er-Jahren in Wien. Psychiatriepfleger dann in der Schweiz und später Journalisten-Kurse in St. Gallen. Seit etwa 1990 freier Foto-Journalist, vorwiegend bei Thurgauer Medien. Die Fotoreportage ist meine liebste Arbeitsform.
