The Münsingen Psychiatric Center (PZM) has been the focus of the SRF regional news report for months. The story begins with the clinic employing three members of the controversial Cherry Blossom Community, an association that practices a form of psychotherapy in which drugs are used to expand consciousness. Patients and staff then report regularly used coercive measures. Finally, research reveals that there are therapists who believe in the theory of mind programming. This theory assumes that the patients, mostly women, were severely sexually abused as children, leading to a split personality. This allows the perpetrator to remotely control the women through mind programming and use them as prostitutes or drug couriers. The Canton of Bern is responding and investigating the events at the PZM.
