NASA’s moon landings in the 1960s were named after the Greek god Apollo. His son Asclepios is the namesake of a Swiss university student project in collaboration with science and industry: a simulated but realistic space mission. For this purpose, in the summer of 2023, students lock themselves in a bunker on the Gotthard for two weeks and attend astronaut school.
