Suburb of the city of Potosí, Huaikumayu area dominated by Cerro Rico. There, live many migrant families from the countryside who came with the hope of a better life by working in the mine. Their homes most of the time have only one room, no water.

Bolivie Potosi, Cerro Rico ou « La montagne qui dévore les hommes ». Dans ses mines, 8 millions de personnes ont perdu la vie depuis le XVIe siècle. La fondatrice suisse de l'association « Voix Libres », Marianne Sébastien, a reçu le prix Human Rights Watch Suisse 2017. J'ai accompagné les travailleurs sociaux de son association qui aident les enfants mineurs et leurs familles à sortir des mines.
