The images provide a glimpse into the interior of the former barracks of the Bern Fire Department, built in the 1930s and now a listed building. Where firefighters once lived during their shifts, a transit center for asylum seekers is being built. The images were taken between March and September 2015 – after the fire department moved out and before the asylum seekers moved in.
