In April 2021, the Swiss Army conducted tests of horse hoisting using helicopters. This scientific project, led by the Vetsuisse Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Swiss Army Veterinary Service, aims to quickly transport and evacuate injured horses to a veterinary medical facility.
