French actor and humorist Jamel Debbouze, Godfather of the fresco, poses in front of a Giant murals depicting actor Charlie Chaplin displayed on two 14 story residential blocks in the Gilamont neighborhood, in Vevey, Switzerland, Saturday, October 8, 2011. The fresco includes illustration of two of Chaplin’s movies ’Modern Times’ and ’The Gold Rush’. Chaplin lived in Switzerland for 26 years and died in his sleep in Corsier-sur-Vevey on Christmas Day 1977. The images of the cinematic giant used some 1,000kg of paint, 50 brushes and 100 rollers, with a team of six mural painters directed by French artist Franck Bouroullec, perched on the scaffolding.
