“Dancing gets into your heart; it opens up the universe to you.” This is how Amedea Aloisi puts it (122, 3rd from left). The young woman is a member of Mops Dance Syndrome, a Ticino company made up of dancers with Down syndrome. In December 2019 they meet for an improvisation at the Teatro dei Fauni in Locarno. They showcase their new work “Choreus Numinis” at the Santa Croce Clinic in Orselina (123), and perform three months later at the Fondazione Majid in Ascona (121). After an interruption due to the pandemic, their work resumes
in September.
