Verena (born 1926) has been gardening here since 1950. In the middle of a dam, right next to the highway. Surrounded by industry and the last remaining fields of the nearby village. Where her brothers once served in the military, currants were grown for Hero. Where she and friends built their hut from materials from the surrounding bunkers: there is no other place she would want to garden.

Die Neugierde auf Unvorhersehbares, das spontane und präzise Reagieren auf Vorgefundenes, der Wunsch, das was eine Persönlichkeit ausmacht heraus zu kitzeln - das prägt Gabi Vogts Bilder. Ihr Augenmerk liegt auf Porträts und Reportagen. Für Kunden realisiert sie Werbekampagnen und Geschäftsberichte. Sie fotografiert für Buchprojekte und Magazinbeiträge. Ihre freien Arbeiten erhielten den Swiss Photo Award und wurden mehrfach ausgezeichnet.
