'Work six days and rest on the seventh,' as it says in the Bible, and these rules are still strictly observed here. The Mennonites in Little Belize live without electricity, toys are rarely seen, and transportation is by horse-drawn carriage. Most families have over 15 children, who, from an early age, are exposed to hours of Caribbean sun while working in the fields.
