When old traditions are revived in Appenzellerland, spectacular images emerge. On Mule Sunday, the Gantenbein family begins their preparations for the summer at Alp Chlus. They transport materials to the Alpstein on horseback, with the help of many volunteers. A classic reportage that also pushed me, as a photographer, to my physical limits.
