Nikita is a 22 year-old Ukrainian refugee from war-torn Zaporizhzhia, photographed shortly after his arrival in Switzerland, immediately following the changes to martial law that allowed young men to leave Ukraine - at 23 he would be required to enlist. Officials forbid that he be photographed at the hostel where he is resident, so was photographed in open air, with the Eiger behind.

Nikita è un rifugiato ucraino di 22 anni proveniente da Zaporižžja, devastata dalla guerra, fotografato poco dopo il suo arrivo in Svizzera, subito dopo le modifiche alla legge marziale che consentivano ai giovani di lasciare l'Ucraina: a 23 anni sarebbe stato obbligato ad arruolarsi. È appena stato trasferito nell'incontaminato villaggio alpino di Grindelwald ed è stato fotografato con l'Eiger alle spalle.
