Nikita is a 22 year-old Ukrainian refugee from war-torn Zaporizhzhia, photographed shortly after his arrival in Switzerland, immediately following the changes to martial law that allowed young men to leave Ukraine - at 23 he would be required to enlist. Officials forbid that he be photographed at the hostel where he is resident, so was photographed in open air, with the Eiger behind.

Nikita, un réfugié ukrainien de 22 ans originaire de Zaporijia, ville ravagée par la guerre, a été photographié peu après son arrivée en Suisse, juste après l'assouplissement de la loi martiale autorisant les jeunes hommes à quitter l'Ukraine – à 23 ans, il serait tenu de s'enrôler. Il vient d'être installé dans le village alpin préservé de Grindelwald et a été photographié avec l'Eiger en arrière-plan.
